She earned two varsity letters in basketball and received All New England Collegiate Conference Second Team honors in 1994. She holds the record at the "three points made" and "Career three point percentage." Laurie died on December 2, 1993 after losing a three-year battle with cancer. The University of Massachusetts currently gives an annual award in her honor, "The Laurie Mann Most Inspirational Athlete Award. Back to Hall of Fame
