After graduating from Bowling Green State University with a degree in Health and Physical Education. Arch began a highly successful teaching and coaching career at Solon High School. Arch served as head football coach at Solon for 12 years, compiling a 70-37-1 record and five championship along the way. Since retirement in 1994 Arch has been involved in a Ministry called "Couples for Christ", an international organization dedicated to strengthening family life.
