Six years after receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree from Ashland College in 1965, Thomas A. Bodager moved to Port Clinton. For the next 26 years he dedicated his life to the young people of Port Clinton. Coach "B" wore many hats at Port Clinton High School. He was the Occupational Work Experience Club Advisor, coached Junior High or Varsity Football for 15 years, was the Varsity Assistant Boys Basketball Coach, volunteered at many High School functions, and coached the High School Boys Basketball Team for 21 years. Coach "B" was active in many organizations, including the Port Clinton Federation of Teachers, the Ohio High School Basketball Coaches Association, the Port Clinton Yacht Club, the Colonial Club, and for 30 years he wore the hat of Technical Assistant at the Ballet School recitals. In 1994 he graduated from the University of Toledo (Master of Education). Thomas A. Bodagar died January 6, 1997. He is survived by his widow, Terry, and their two sons, Tyson and Jason Bodager.
