Established herself as a versatile and successful athlete
Mary Stevens was voted "Best Athlete" in her senior year. In basketball, she played guard and she participated in all 5 track and field events, the 60 and 40 yard dash, the 220 yard relay, the long jump, and the high jump. She set several records in the sprints. Mary continued to be active in sports after High School and played basketball for Standard Products for about three years.
